Inspiration for the younger generation – journey with us as we hear how Edward Elgar was inspired by J.S. Bach, and the pinnacle work of Paul Hindemith inspired by von Weber. The Second Piano Concerto of Beethoven heavily borrows techniques used by W.A. Mozart, who passed away just four years before this work’s premiere, with drama and contrast evident in Beethoven’s maturing works plainly audible.
